As a fan, I’ve got the gatefold LP, the original Caribou CD and the Legacy double CD so I may not have an unbiased perspective. However not what I expected as it’s mostly narrative that is told in a series of interviews from the time (the Seventies) and from the present day by those who took part, looking back to the making of Pacific Ocean Blue. A must for fans of Dennis Wilson and those who love the album. Great pictures too. Only let down by the absence of the late Karen Lamm-Wilson’s perspective.
