waiting for book 4 will be impossible like omg. this book was so good i love this series so much. seeing bree get stronger was amazing but i literally feel like i can't even talk about this book without spoiling so i will be continuing in the spoilers section.

I love this series. The writing is on point, the characters are all loveably human (or demonic), and each book brings another layer of complexity to this world of intersecting magics. Love Bree’s character arc in this book. Love the connected paths the characters walk. 
Some small disappointments that got plot set ups but didn’t get into the meat of the issue. Maybe we’ll see those in the fourth book.

Didn’t not enjoy Alice Chen’s just being on the back-burner. The Morgaines still confuse me & I thought we’d delve more into them. And Nick is just too perfect, it doesn’t work. Like Willam’s perspective thinking he’s some brilliant game-player when from Nick’s POV his plan was way too simple and dumb… but worked? And he just disappeared for the whole second book and that still isn’t resolved but he still gets to be the good guy? I don’t get it. I’ll chalk it up to hetero sense-making.
