Loved this book, was so interesting to not only read these beautiful fairytale retellings but to learn the history of them and to see the illustrations bring them to life.

A collection of 21 forgotten fairytales, retold and illustrated by the authors. Each is beautifully woven together and at the end of each is a bit of backstory behind the original and retold tale, as well as the illustration. I love that the tales are from around the globe, and are all different.
