Accessible and super informative. Science heavy and interesting. If you have any interest in how what you put into your body does and what we really need and should avoid, give this one a shot.

I just read about the things I thought might kill me. Adding flaxseed and one more serving of fruit. Also...beans. I need to eat more freakin beans!

This book has completely refreshed and reframed my relationship to food and nutrition. Too often I’ve thought of food as the impact it has on my body externally, while Dr Greger breaks down exactly what it looks like internally. His checklist of a daily dozen and examples of serving sizes makes it hugely accessible to implement changes in your life, and already I’ve noticed an improvement. Truly could not be more grateful for this book.
