I agree with Dr. Price's main point throughout the book, but did feel that it got a bit long-winded and could have been more concise.

i’ve spent so many years of my life trying to be as productive as possible every single day, but last year i suddenly realized i didn’t need to do that anymore. and what do you know, life went on as normal even though i stopped making PAGES long to-do lists every week. i enjoyed reading this and affirming that life isn’t about checking things off a list.

While I like the core ideas, the book is very repetitive. The personal stories and stories of friends are a bit too much and I had to struggle to get throught it - I ended up skipping whole paragraphs and pages and was happy it was over. Also, every single thing is seemingly caused by "the Laziness Lie". Things are a bit more complicated than that and not all our personal struggles can be reduced to "boo capitalism and the Laziness Lie".
