James Patterson is a wonderful storyteller and this feel-good Christmas tale did not disappoint. A little preposterous and hard to believe, but that’s what makes stories like this one fun! Henry is a widow who has given up on true love after the death of his wife. His children recognize his unhappiness and try to hook him up on an online dating site. Insanity ensures from there.

This is a children's book. If you go in knowing it's that and maybe reading it with a pre-teen then you'll enjoy it more.

I have read Patterson before and wasn’t sure what to expect especially since the reviews seemed mixed. My husband had extra audible credits, so I used one for this book. It was a super cute read, even if it was a bit sappy. I would recommend this as a family read as I think I would appeal to both parents and young adult readers. I think this is one I could read each year.
