These books read a bit more immature than I would have liked. 

I convinced myself to get through the first book, but I just don’t have it in me to finish the series.

I don’t love the “abuse women” for the plot trope. 

I did love the idea of the plot and where the story was going, but I just couldn’t see past some of the very unhealthy dynamics that overall felt not explored in an ethical or necessary way.

Ohhhhhhhhh I love the fantasy of this. The scene where Tessa unleashes on Theon was EVERYTHING!!!! I don’t know how I feel about Luka now also idk, love him but somehow gives me chaol vibes.. I’m so sucked into this damn story the WRITING is excellent. Tessa is prob one of my fav ever fmc’s, it feels so special to read about someone struggling with mental health and trauma and see those fears on paper, I feel seen
