For all those with a sad healing heart
love love love r.h. sin , especially in this one! captured perfectly of what it is to be imperfect , but still know your self worth and what you deserve, and don’t deserve.

this is what rupi kaur THOUGHT she was writing tbh. it wasn’t bad, i feel very neutral on it overall, but the good poems/fragments didn’t outweigh the bad/cringe/bland ones.
I was enthralled the moment I flipped through the pages of this small, thick book. Because I write my [short] poetry in the exact same way. Non-rhyming, eccentric, weird use of line breaks to signify tone, and no caps on the first word of each sentence.
I liked parts of it, could relate to most of it, but some pages I just skimmed through too. It’s like small doses of comfort food for the heart. I will read his other books too.

Not wildly good poetry but does a good job of channeling some sad, regretful emotions.
"Falling apart doesn't make you weak
A strong heart is capable of breaking"
"The girls who love books
Have the sweetest love to give"
Again I am blown away by the power r.h. Sin has over painful raw poetry. Where I've been with my life recently suits this book so much just as the others also have. We have all experienced some degree of pain and I just feel my thoughts and emotions so beautifully echoed in the words of this book. Definitely something to come back and read again and again.
