Finally done lil sword and sorcery binge, and tbh I'm glad. It's not my usual cup of tea, but I'll admit I do understand (and even appreciate) the ending of this trilogy. Really comes full circle and hits home on the themes of fates unforgiving nature and the small roles we play in it.
It's just unfortunate that the prose makes this such a slog to read.
Regardless, it's still pretty cool as a palette cleanser and worth a read.

One of the earliest examples of an author falling too in love with his own multiverse - a problem that is now devouring culture itself. I won't blame Michael Moorcock for this problem, and honestly there's some cool stuff in this book, but he's eating his own tail here somewhat.

Just like the 2 previous books.
-Great audiobook production!
-Incredibly imaginative (though it needed a while to get going for this one.)
-Interesting characters and the struggle between Law and Chaos.
Want to read the rest of the series and more of Moorcock!

A really disjointed, weak ending to an otherwise worthwhile fantasy trilogy.
This is among the best of the Eternal Champion books, and I certainly agree with Kwll at the end.
