Cuando le has dado 5 a los dos anteriores pero el siguiente es aún mejor ¿qué haces?
The trail of death and destruction increases, and Kenji finally steps into action when his friends and family are directly threatened. Who is the mysterious cult leader? Probably not either of the so-far prime suspects, but we'll see...
I've been loving this story from page one. I'm enjoying the characters, how the plot unfolds, the detail in the drawings. But my favorite part of the way the story is paced is that the final chapter in each collection is the introduction of a new character. You have no idea how they'll fit into the story until the next volume.
While being build as a sci-fi book, the story has been more focused on character building than doing anything complicated with sci-fi. Sure there's realization of prophecy, and a looming ... mecha ? robot kaiju ? but we've only seen a couple shots of it as an impending threat.
I strongly recommend this as a series to introduce someone to manga. It's a clearer read then [b:Akira, Vol. 1|93371|Akira, Vol. 1|Katsuhiro Otomo|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1343804802l/93371._SX50_.jpg|90020] so far.

I loved the films of 20th Century Boys when I was a teen and reading this now just reminded me of how good the story is. Love this idea so much.

The plot thickens, though it is frustrating how Urasawa is dragging things out with the characters remembering their childhood, which is obviously tied to the doomsday cult, bit by bit.
