I needed some lighter reading and this fit the bill. Insightful take on the relationship between parents and adult children.

I like how many perspectives this book comes from, especially all of the different ages... but it lost me on the fact that it really doesn't have any super definitive plot. It seems like the author just threw every social issue at the wall and hoped for the best but nothing really came together.

This is a gorgeous book about family and the myriad ways we hurt and love one another. Finishing it left me with a feeling akin to a full-body sunburn - warm, sore, and tender all over.

DNF- I quit this book about 70 pages in. I know literary fiction usually takes some time to develop the characters but I just didn’t care about any of them and all the “quirkiness” of every single character was just too much.
