This is a beautifully presented book, with a writer’s quote at the beginning of each chapter, cute notes in between, and questions for your consideration at the end of each chapter. The authors maintain a friendly, conversational tone throughout. A pleasure to read.

It's been a while since I really dug into marketing and publishing stuff so this was a really great reminder- it breaks down everything in really easy, readable chunks. It's also easy to skim through the bits that don't apply to you (I only skimmed the formatting part, since I plan to hire someone for that)
It's a lot of beginner stuff so I'd recommend it more to people just starting their research or in need of a good refresher. Not necessarily for someone deep in research already
