Loved it. Loved the best friends to lovers trope. The spicy scenes were spicing. It was a a very good time.

I haven't read a Lauren Blakely book I didn't enjoy!

After reading Axel & Hazel's book, I just knew that I had to read the next one!! Classic childhood friends-to-lovers trope here! There was so much to love in this book, but sadly, I felt it was dragging toward the end with the endless sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, I did appreciate a few of them, but I felt that the author was pushing the resolution with them & it started annoying me tbh

I enjoyed this for the most part. I just could not get over the fact that she referred to the equivalent of the Super Bowl as the "Big Game." She could have used Championship Game, Title Game, literally anything else would have sounded better than Carter saying "we've won two Big Games in a row"

I absolutely loved this sweet, witty, heartfelt, and sizzling romance! Carter and Rachel have been best friends for most of their lives. After they both suffer a heartbreaking relationship, they are back in the same town and single. When Carter has an obligation to a dating app, he asks his best friend, Rachel, to help him make it easier and more fun. Since she is struggling to get back into the dating world, she agrees, as long as he helps her as well. Carter never liked her ex, and is determined to show her how a good boyfriend really treats his woman. They go on some clever and fun dates, and soon Rachel asks for bedroom lessons as well. They have cared deeply for each other for so long, and now their passion is unleashed, and neither wants to give it up. They both realize they are in love, but are afraid to give voice to it, and risk losing the one person who holds their heart. What happens when the dates are over? Are they brave enough to ask for what they really want?
I really fell for both Carter and Rachel, they were so perfect together. They are both so sweet and kind, and a little nerdy. They fit so seamlessly into each other's lives, bringing a support, comfort, fun, and unconditional love that they both needed desperately, and their hot, adventurous passion and chemistry was off the charts! I love a great grand gesture, and this had one that made me swoon!
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They delivered all the witty banter, emotion, and steam so flawlessly, I was completely lost in their performance. I loved every minute of this fun, engaging, tender, and sexy romance!

Lowkey a bit unrealistic friends to lovers but I’m not mad at it…but homies had feelings from jump soo

Humor. Heart. Heat. Plays Well with Others delivers the best of romance in the most entertaining of ways. Blakely tackles deep emotions with tempting characters, sassy dialogue and ironic sense of humor. Rachel and Carter are a breath of fresh air. From steamy to dreamy, their antics will leave you with a smile.

Cute predictable romance.
