I loved this one! It was fun with some good rom-com friends to lovers vibe. Rachel is throwing herself an “I Just Got Divorced Party” and her best friend, pro football player Carter Hendrix, has promised to help. When he steps in and tells a man she’s going home with him tonight, she’s not sure how to feel about it. But then he asks her to go on fake dates with him for this app he has to video for work and decides she can practice on Carter with girlfriend lessons and suddenly… it doesn’t feel so un-dates and un-sexing anymore.
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Like seeing a main character who is working to better herself and not waiting on a man to do it
2) Carter is adorably sweet and sexy and the whole bit with how he handles is ADHD was very well done and
3) The eggplant necklace and meme
