Qué bonito fue disfrutar una historia con la que ya estaba familiarizada por la adaptación del Studio Ghibli.
Nicky (o Kiki para los que la conocimos primero así) nos narra el paso a la madurez de una joven bruja que, de acuerdo a lo que dicta la tradición, debe salir de casa al cumplir los 13 años, esto para emprender un viaje en el que se prepara como bruja, se instalará en otra ciudad y deberá hacer uso de sus poderes para ayudar a los demás.
Aunque es una novela que nos habla de cómo Nicky se va conociendo a ella misma, como va sucediendo su proceso de maduración y como se adapta a su nueva vida, cada capítulo se siente como una aventura independiente.

I enjoyed it a lot… gave me a whole new perspective of kiki’s delivery service. the one thing I enjoyed most of the novel is the relationship between kiki and her mother, kokiri, it tugs at my heartstrings.
