Let me just say that I enjoyed reading the excerpt 1o Things I Hate About Pinky of that was at the end of the book and I really cannot wait to read the book.
Here we follow Sweetie and Ashish (who is the brother of Rishi, from the first book) who plans a Valentine Day event for Sweetie and he invites Rishi, Dimple, and Pinky and Samir who cannot stop fighting with each other. Pinky is a free spirit and all she hates is bodily represented by Samir but an escape room event results in them working together
I just thought it was hilarious and we got to know a bit more about Pinky.

This was a cute short story to add to the When Dimple Met Rishi series. I’m very excited to get to the next book to read all about Pinky and Samir!

Short novella in the Dimple-verse. Short and sweet celebration of Valentine’s Day with all of the characters we’ve gotten to know and love with a hint of what’s to come with Pinky and Samir in the upcoming book as they work to escape a lovey escape room. Cute and continues the love stories of Dimple and Rishi and Sweetie and Ashish.

Not as good as the author's other writings, and the escape room sounded too easy.

Spoilers.

I tend to duck and weave after finishing a book and read something else, but having finished 10 Things I Hate About Pinky, I wanted to finish off the series.

Very short vignettes are hard to review, especially ones with six characters. Real fast? Dimple and Rishi were fine, Ashish and Sweetie are not favorite characters of mine and are fairly bland, and while I read this after book three, it didn’t seem to quite line up to me. Samir holding onto the picture was good foreshadowing, but didn’t seem to be the point where we find Samir at the beginning of the next book.

Also, I’ve never done an escape room, but that seemed mad cryptic.

I’ll take anything I can get from the Dimpleverse before we say goodbye next month with 10 Things I Hate About Pinky. This book does a great job of setting things up for the final installment. it’s Valentine’s Day and Ashish & Sweetie team up with Dimple & Rishi for an Escape Room double date. On their way they run into Pinky then Samir and invite them both to join. After their first fight (and subsequent make up) Pinky and Samir are ready for their book releasing next month. Love everyone in this series! #weneeddiversebooks

It was a cute little story to sate my appetite while I impatiently await 10 Things I Hate About Pinky which - looking at the ending of this - I am very much looking forward to.
