I was surprised that I actually enjoyed reading this nonfiction book. I liked that the author only wrote the facts and I am not sure what her opinion is on the subject which is nice. I enjoyed the extra notes to describe something further. I felted this was to help inform the reader better. I also enjoyed the pictures that were in the book, they help me picture it better. I have never read much about Lizzie Borden but what I had learned left me to believe she was guilty. After reading this and being presented the information in this book I agree with the 12 jurors.

It was a great book. Better than I thought it would be at least. At times it was long and drowned on about the same thing for a long time. The relationship between the police and the press was very interesting in the beginning. This would be a great book for a book club too as it brings up lots of questions and great discussion.

I read this when I was roughly 15, it was absolutely amazing. Well-detailed, informative and perfectly written. It was the start of my true crime interest, and I firmly believe Lizzie did not do it :)

I read this book for my libraries young adult book club for adults.

What a great introduction to true crime! Sarah does a great job giving all of the facts and keeping the story down a straight path. From all the evidence given, I do believe they made the right decision by finding Lizzie "not guilty"
