It wasn't bad. It was just lackluster. The writing felt a little amateur-ish. And the characters were just all going on about how 'hot' the person they were with is.

Could I have finished? Yeah. But I probably wouldn't read the rest of the series and I have so many other books to read.

Ich bin absolut entertained. Als Fan von verschiedenen POV und Handlungssträngen die erst später zusammenfinden bin ich absolut abgeholt. Der Anfang ist etwas schwierig, weil man erstmal die Protagonisten erstmal kennenlernen und sich in die Welt einfinden muss. Es bleibt durchweg spannend und man kann mit jedem Charakter irgendwie gut mithalten, gedanklich. Ich liebs ja, wenn Handlungen nachvollziehbar sind. Tolle Motive, viel Handlung, weniger Fantasy aber super Plott-Twist.

I really wanted to love this. I heard so many good things. Unfortunately 5 POVs is just too much for me. I felt confused for the first 60% of the book and had to keep flipping back to confirm what was happening. The ending felt a bit rushed and didn’t make up for how I felt during the rest of the book.
