Had its good moments but I'm just not connecting emotionally. It feels like it is trying to cover too many things too fast/with too little depth.

Charming but intense at times.

I feel like the character (on the front cover) is the harshest to Tasuku. They are also harsh on themselves, from what I can tell.

The story is sort of sad but laid out in a hopeful tone. I hope it gets even better and even more compelling than it already is! I’m looking forward to it.

As always, the art is fabulous. It’s a certain aesthetic and I’m digging it. It suits the story quite well.

i love how this doesn't shy away from illustrating how complicated one's own relation to their own gender and sexuality can be, and how influencing and powerful mainstream speech and society is

the way this manga is paneled is fucking GORGGEOUS! just wow!!!! the younger kid struggling with their gender (i forgot their name, sorry) was executed so well, that scene where they were screaming homophobic obscenities at the mc was just so hard to watch though. yuck. i don’t expect figuring yourself out on a level that most people don’t dare to trek is easy, but that was so disgusting to see happen. even if, they, are projecting how they might feel about themselves in regards to how they CANT be theirself, it was still weird as hell. IDK!!

Holy shit, WOW! This was awesome! The characters were super engaging, especially Tasuku! He went from "woe is me, let me mope" to "proactive yet indecisive" but it didn't feel forced or rushed. His interactions with Misora were great and while I cringed at their fight towards the end, I understood why it happened and knew that it was important for both Misora's and Tasuku's development. Misora started out kind of annoying and insensitive, but gradually grew on me. His outburst at the end was uncalled for, but again I understood why it happened which made it easier to swallow. I don't have as much to say this time around (specifically because of spoilers) but suffice to say this was a great volume.

P.S. The artwork. HOLY SHIT, THE ARTWORK. I want to frame some of these panels, they were so FUCKING GORGEOUS.
