An interesting exposé on the early years of Nintendo - in particular how the company got into video games and, perhaps more importantly, how the company broke into the US video game market. However, the book seemed to get a little "long in the tooth" towards the end - dragging out simple stories - and I slowly started to lose interest.

This was really interesting - but I am disappointed because I was hoping to learn about the more contemporary consoles and their effects. Like the huge takeover of the 3DS, the flop of the WiiU and, since 2017, how the Switch has affected gaming and the market. Oh well.
