Very sweet characters and good representation of mental health issues. My main qualm is that several problems were really skimmed over at the end to kind of “tie up” the plot more neatly. Otherwise, an uplifting emotional read for sure!

Incredible. I practically inhaled this book within two days and loved it so much I even sat through the half time/not quite third act breakup. Lane and Matt are incredibly adorable and lovable characters that are so easy to identify with in any way, shape or form. I also appreciate the author for not putting a child into the equation so I didn’t have to take a star off my rating

Okay Matt may be my new favorite book boyfriend!! This friends to lovers romance is just so sweet how they bond through him helping her make a school bus into a tiny house and they get closer to each other. Not only am I picturing Matt as a younger Jason Mamoa, but he is just so kind and loving and I want to move in with his adorable family! Lane is also cool, haha.

I absolutely loved this book! I really related to Lane's anxiety struggles and I love her and Matt together! This was such a sweet story.

Hannah's books have something that  make you feel so much, that even if there's some hard parts at the end they make you feel like being snuggle by a cozy blanket on a rainy day

I really enjoyed this story overall, I went expecting a pretty light-hearted romance, but it was quite an emotional rollercoaster. The characters were easy to like and I especially loved that Hannah Bonam-Young took the time to really flesh out the families of the MMC/FMC as well.

I wish the story had spent a bit more time with the bus, I think it would have been interesting to have some more scenes involving the renovation. I also felt that the first 20-30% of the book moved quite slowly, and I struggled to get into the plot. However, after this, it really picked up, and I whizzed through the last half in less than a day.

** Thank you to the publisher for the eARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own. **

Next to You was an adorable and entertaining story. I enjoyed reading Lane's character development and her journey towards healing. I love that Hannah placed a strong emphasis on getting therapy. Matt was the sweetest!! The happy dance scene was so cute 💓
