MATT THE MAN THAT YOU ARE. Possibly top 10 book boyfriend?
This was SO CLOSE to being a 5star read. Everything about it was so perfect, the yearning, tension EVERYTHING- and then the third act breakup happened. I hate a third act breakup as is, but this one felt extra pointless. I was still willing to look past it and still give a five, but then the way the reconnected was so not my thing. WHY DID THIS WOMAN PROPOSE!? Like yes I loved them together and believed they’d last, but why did it have to be so rushed. I also didn’t care for the epilogue. 
With all that being said, this book was soso cute and I love every book I’ve read from her and can’t wait to read another.

Lane and Matt are the epitome of relationship goals 🚌💕  Friends to lovers is one of my least favorite tropes, but this book had me questioning that 😅  I love that Warren and Chloe tried hard to push then together and that found family was a strong theme throughout this novel. I could have done without the third act breakup, but Lane really need to work on herself and relationships with her family, so it made sense.

This book was SPICY with lite bdsm and praise kink 🥵🔥🌶 so I rate this a 4.5/5. There are quite a few open door scenes that were pretty descriptive, so be warned 😉
