Loved this on #audio Friends to lovers, she buys a bus on a drunken whim and he helps fix it up. They both have challenges in their pasts and do the work for themselves and each other. And I loved his family so much! Highly recommend!

me saying every five minutes at the pool I´ll leave after the next chapter and two hours later I’m done with the book and on my way home

THIS MAN!? wow. he had me hooked from the moment he introduced her to Jane Eyre. I haven't even read that one yet but just the fact that they listened to the audiobook together make me emotional. she also buys a physical copy as a trophy for her shelf, so me coded <3 his pet peeve is people killing bugs outside because its their space. they listen to Fleetwood Mac together. they look at the stars together. I just loved this couple and this book so much

So much to love in this book, but my favorite part was Lane visiting with his parents. Really such a lovely moment she shared with his mother and the conversation with his father felt really impactful to Lane’s personal growth. I felt like I grew with these characters and they really worked towards something beautiful and stable. Their chemistry was off the charts and really enjoyed their dynamic.

“Fuck, I miss you. You’ve ruined me. Do it again.” 😩😩😩

HBY PUT! ME! THROUGH! IT! Kinda like how Matt put Lane through the bed he built in that damn bus!! Coming out of this feeling like I was on one of those gd wooden roller coasters that you have an absolute blast on but will wake up sore the next morning from. An achingly tender (and heart rate spiking) exploration of anxiety, grief, and not knowing what comes next. Felt seen, called out, and hella h*rny.
