Another entry in my growing list of well-written romance. The characters are believable, the pacing of the story is great, and shout out to having the FMC with long-standing issues seek out therapy so she can manage a healthy relationship. What a win!

This was good! Matt is the standard and he truly loves and years for Lane. This book did have a lot going on, but it was nice to be able to watch Lane deal with her grief. I hope there is more to come from this world!

Wow! I don’t quite know if i’m a fan of second act breakups but I didn’t hate this one. The elements of grief and ptsd and longing were very well executed throughout. At the beginning I was a bit hesitant being that we didn’t know much about these two characters from the first book in the series but I quickly fell in love with both. Especially Matt, ugh what a man!
