I related to Lane's struggles with anxiety and indecisiveness/impulsiveness. I am also in that space where most of my friends are in different stages of life than I am, and I know the feeling of being "behind" all too well. Matt is such a wonderful cinnamon roll hero. I adored him throughout the whole book! I relate so hard with his tendencies of being useful, so people keep you around mentality. Hannah Bonam Young's book get better and better with each one! I can't wait to see what else comes from her!
