5⭐️ FIRST OFF; I’m UNWELL!!

The author’s sense of humor is great! Just quality stuff. I also love the representation for mental health differences and the pink haired queer character. I’m pretty sure this couple is my spirit’s song. The self-sacrificing man friend and the anxious little queer bean. Ughh I love their friendship and when they became more… 100/10!

The spiritual aspects in the book with the mother and the moment in the woods, unmatched. And this book definitely healed something in my GAD heart. The representation and the mention of anxiety and constant stress and fear for things that seem so easy for everyone else was GOLD! The familial stuff was gorgeous and I have to get this book in print so I can read it over and over again. Also, side-note: the sex scenes were great.

Truly, Matt's only flaw was his name.

While I didn't like this as much as Out on a Limb, I still really liked it. HBY writes super realistic characters that I just really want to be friends with.
