I love cats, and so I loved this Christmas book which was set in a Cat Cafe. The story is about a woman called Tabby who, after getting an inheritance, opens up a Cat Cafe in Whitsborough Bay, UK. Her partner Leon shocks her by leaving her alone to open and run the cafe. This is a difficult task, since she has fibromyalgia, and she is scared to tell her friends and family about it; she does not like to ask for help. Will she be able to get the help she needs to get everything up and running on time for Christmas?
I really enjoyed this book a lot - the cats were all super cute, and Tabby was very nice too. I also loved the Christmas theme. The only thing I would change about the book is that I felt that fibromyalgia was mentioned much too often. But I do empathise with anyone who has it, as it must be a very painful condition.
Overall, this is a fantastic book, which I highly recommend!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

I adore Jessica Redlands books and this is a new series but set in the familiar backdrop of Castle Street in Whitsborough if you've had the joy already of reading any of her previous books set here.
Tabby is close to opening her lifelong dream of running a cat café when a series of revelations and mishaps occur which seems to push her dreams further and further out of reach. Coupled with serious health issues, Tabby realises these setbacks mean she needs to rethink her strategy, in comes Tom, a lifelong friend and with the support of family, friends, and some wonderful familiar characters from Castle Street, the café opens. However it may prove to be only the start of things changing beyond all recognition for Tabby and Tom.
I felt Tabby's illness was handled superbly and proved such an insight in to the reality of a chronic condition. I also felt such a fondness for Tom and his background as a foster child and what that means now for him as an adult.
With such a beautiful combination of vulnerability, less-than-rosy real life and tons of cats, this is a warm and cathartic read with a bit of that expected bonus Christmas sparkle.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, as it combined two of my favourite things - cats and books! The romance in this festive story was executed perfectly, making it an easy, fast read that I finished in just one day.
The characters created a close-knit community that was heartwarming, and I appreciated the inclusion of previous characters from other books, although the story can still be enjoyed as a standalone.
As a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, I especially loved the beautiful descriptions of the feline characters, which added to the realism of the story. I would love to visit the Cat Cafe described in the book!
My favourite aspect of the book was the awareness it brought to Fibromyalgia through its character portrayal. Redland effectively addressed the complexities of the condition, making it the first rom-com read to feature such a topic that I have read. Although unexpected, I am grateful for the author's inclusion of this fresh concept, as it has increased my understanding of Fibromyalgia.
If you're looking for a mood boost or a heartwarming read to cuddle up with, I highly recommend this new release.

I’m all for educating people on diseases, especially invisible illnesses, but it felt like every other sentence had to do with the main character’s chronic illness, as opposed to the cozy Christmas read about cats that I thought it would be. The cute, fun, christmasy part of the book really only took place in the last few chapters.

Absolutely loved this book! With Leon dumping Tabby, she now has to run her dream cat café on her own. With the help of her friends and family she is running her café, but there is someone who is wanting to make sure her dream don’t become a reality…Leon ex (Ameilia) who was blaming Tabby for Leon breaking up with her. Majority of the book of the book was about her health and running the cat café and her friendship with Tom (her brother best friend) about the last 10-20% was her relationship and feelings towards Tom.

This is such a cute, feel-good story. It’s hard not to fall in love with the characters- especially when half of them are cats. I will say, this story is full of tropes and cliches, but it’s exactly what I was hoping for in a Christmas romance.
I definitely enjoyed this book! It was very enlightening to the struggles of having a chronic condition and as a cat lover I was touched by the whole premise. Really enjoyed reading this and would recommend to anyone who loves a brother’s best friend trope and of course cats!
A sweet "Hallmark Movie" of a read. Great for ailurophiles.
