It just wasn’t doing it for me. There was so much…words. It was like info dump after info dump after info dump and it never eased up.

This was such a cute read.

Tabby’s lifelong dream has been to work with cats. Being a self confessed ailurophole there is nothing more she wants than to spend her every waking hour with her cats and opening a cat cafe is the perfect solution. Along with her boyfriend Leon she’s almost ready to make that dream a reality, but when Leon leaves her Tabby’s dreams are suddenly looking less likely of becoming true. But she perseveres and opens up the cafe as planned. With a few hiccups along the way things are going well and could there even be a love story on the horizon.

It’s not overly Christmasy which is what I was hoping for but the Christmas theme is in there. It strongly touches on Tabby’s disability of fibromyalgia and goes very in depth as what it is like to live with and also help understand it as whole. Which I found very eye opening.

The cat content is on point and so darn cute. Being a cat mum to 3 furbabies it was very wholesome to read. It made me want to scoop them all up for cosy snuggles.

There is a romance which is quite cute but that’s all I’ll say for now.

Overall a good read and probably a nice little palette cleanser for the festive season.

I feel slightly conflicted about this book. I liked the premise, however it was not executed well at all. I did feel like it was entirely too long. There was a lot of “filler” moments that didn’t add to the story at all.

*slight spoiler alert* I was also kind of surprise by the loss of one of the cats. I really wasn’t expecting that at all, especially in a holiday book.

Tabby’s decision at the end was also really unexpected. I kind of knew she would make that decision, but it still surprised me.

I liked Tabby, but I was definitely frustrated with a lot of her decisions. Her love of cats and her sweet caring nature was my favorite things about her. I also loved that this book focused a lot on her fibromyalgia. It really shed light on her experiences.

There were quite a few things I didn’t care for. I was really hoping to like this one, but it just wasn’t it for me.

Such a cute book, so wholesome and sweet. An absolute perfect read/listen for those cold, wet and windy days.

Well, this book was really sweet, it was too long, and even though I had some points where I felt connected to the main character, I did believe that she complained too much about her condition and it became the central focus of the book, which was not appealing to me. I felt like the characters started off strong, but ended poorly.
