Such a sweet, wholesome, heart-warming story that has total Fredrik Backman vibes! It revolves around an 80-year old man named Frank who has been riding the same bus route for 60 years, searching for a woman he met when he was 20 years old. On the bus he meets a bunch of people that band together to try and help him find this person. Cue our main character Libby and Frank’s carer Dylan. They meet through Frank, but develop their own really sweet relationship. It’s a race against the clock because Frank is suffering from dementia, and the situations that ensue will make you laugh and cry.

first book by this author and i loved it. i loved that it showed conflict in all kinds of relationships, i loved that real unpredictable setbacks come up when you think everything is okay and how the characters dealed with them day by day. i loved the representation and seeing so many true friendships being make with unlikely people all brought together by a sweet old man looking for lost love. and i loved the sense of community!
