What an exciting new series involving a group of warrior shapeshifters! This story has it all..romance, intrigue, mythology and mystery. Lyon and Kara's romance is has the right level of steam, tension and compatibility. The mix of warriors is interesting with several complex personalities whose backstories I cannot wait to discover. The ending was climatic and it delivered with just enough unresolved to whet my appetite for the next book.

More like 3.5 stars. The mythology and world building is the only reason I finished it. The beginning is a little forced and scattered but I still enjoyed Lyon more than most of the leader alpha characters. The supporting characters as always will keep me reading.
This was a solid 3.5 stars. It started off iffy, but I loved the ending. The culprits were exactly who I thought it was, though, which is why this gets 3.5 stars.
Audio-read. Good storyline, not bad characters. Narrator not bad even though he sounds like John Cena and doesn't fluctuate his voice.

This seriers is a knockoff of JR Wards BDB series.. only with shape shifters instead of vampires. And this book borders more toward erotica as opposed to 'normal' paranormal romance.
This book was violent and had a lot of sexuality, but it was saw awesome to read, and I can't wait to read more!
