read this book for irl book club and don't necessarily regret it but can't say i had a great time either. my main issue was how child-like rukh was throughout the book, especially with him not knowing about his own body. this gave everything a really icky undertone for me. i also HATE pregnancy and childbirth tropes in romance so that was the real icing on the nope cake for me. otherwise, though, not the worst smut i've read and i appreciated how it centered on consent and female pleasure.
