Seiko’s storyline was handled SO well, it’s one of the things that made me love Otani. I’m loving this series
Le traitement du personnage de Seiko est sans surprise honteux et cruel mais comme qqun l'a dit dans les commentaires ça ne me surprend pas : c'est le Japon en 2002 et ça reste une trope très récurrente dans les mangas (avec des évolutions +/- positives). Ça aurait pu être bien pire même si ce n'est pas acceptable.

This is a pretty cute shojo series. I'm shipping Risa and Otani. I have to say the way the author handled a character who is transgender and her crush on the main character was as refreshing as it was unexpected. Handled with sensitivity and depth.

The story continuos funny and lighthearted until about page 120. There is were the terrible treatment of the character Seiko starts.
Is that normalized kinda of transphobia in media, against trans woman specifically, were the other characters use she/her pronouns and call Seiko by her preferred name, but they don't actually see her as a "real woman". She is literally called a "trap" on page by a bunch of cishet boys. She is deadnamed, treated like a sexual predador and promptly rejected - even though she is everything Otani has been saying he wanted in a girlfriend from the begging of the series.
Also, the story is getting repetitive. Every volume is: Koizumi and Otani start to get close, some third party that likes one of then shows up, the third party is dealt with, Koizumi and Otani go back to being frenemies. I honestly hope that next volume is different.

Love.com is not a manga that deals well with serious issues to begin with but I felt it important to mention this stuff.
No fue un mal volumen, pero no hubieron muchos momentos cute, y además se centró mucho en Seiko (personaje que me gusta, pero al mismo tiempo quiero ver cómo se desarrolla la relación entre Otani y Risa, no a Seiko xd). Pero Risa por fin se admitió a si misma sus sentimientos por Otani, y la escena es igual que la del anime
