3.5⭐️i think the author was trying to do too much in one book. sometimes it read like a philosophy textbook or a romance, but the switch between was sloppy. i enjoyed the world but wish there had been more descriptions than inner monologues. show not tell

The idea is interesting, but the world-building seemed disappointing and connections between characters felt rushed - the pacing was weird and kinda slow til the end. Characters felt way younger than they're supposed to be, and I wanted much more focus on the magic/academia side - I didn't care about the relationships and that was way too much of the focus.

I may re-read sometime to see if I just missed things because the audiobook kept losing my attention - but I got through it in audio and I'd tried a few times in kindle first and kept putting it down.

The Atlas Six-2⭐️- the one thing about Olivie Blake is that she writes teenage/ college aged kids realistically, she is also great at writing urban fantasy twining technology, academics, and magic. I didn’t like this book because the characters were so juvenile and destructive to themselves and each other it just got old. I also couldn’t focus on the rules of the Magic system because I hated all the characters so I had no idea what was going on at any given time. I can understand why this book has a following, but I will not be reaching for the next book.

I have no clue

Dnf, I don’t even know why

None of the characters were likeable nor were you able to identify with anyone. Too many POVs. It was difficult to follow or even understand a character
Storyline so far was not catchy, could not finish the book. It definitely had potential.
