I liked every story and connected with the characters. The vibes range from funny and dark to kind of sad and reflective. There are a lot of sentences and paragraphs that just stuck with me. I could relate to a lot and am definitely getting back to the book and read it again.

I cannot believe that there is no more book to read here. every story made me connect to a different aspect of my life for some crazy reason. how is it that a story about a guy working at an amusement park with a monster could make me so emotion??? explain that raphael!!!

A collection of hilarious and charming short stories that were very fun to read. Favorite stories were Rufus, Presidents, and the wedding one. Although they are all good.

I cried like 8 different times. My favorites of the short stories

- taboo
- up and comers
So weird and good.

I'm not sure what I was expecting from the creator of Bojack Horseman. Each chapter was a different story. If you want to literally run away from your problems this is the book for you!

A delight through and through.

Even in the stories that make you squirm in discomfort.

A fun charming collection of stories that center around love and relationships! For me the 1-5 pagers were the most impactful, almost poetic. RBW has a lot of fun ideas which make his way of storytelling unique.

funny and sweet. some cliches and it isn't that that DEEP which is fine but I kinda got the sense that he wanted them to be DEEP and so it just felt extra shallow knowing there was a disconnect. some stories didn't do it for me but overall i enjoyed. i think i'm giving it a 3.5 really.
favorite stories were

- A Most Blessed and Auspicious Occasion
- We Men of Science
- Move Across the Country
- More of the You That You Already Are
- We will be close on Friday 18 July

Reading this felt like the quotes I highlight and love the most were collected and made into short stories, all in one book.. I loved it with all of my heart. All the weird parts and weird stories, the allegories, the writing, the emotion, everything!
Might not be for everyone, but it's easily one of my favorite books..
