Short stories that have callbacks to previous stories. Some set in different worlds. Very fun and most of the stories are on the shorter side so if you didn't like one, you can keep it pushing.

From the creator of BoJack Horseman, if you "got" the series, this is a must-read. The humor is similar, there are sections that start somewhat amusing and then just about have you in tears at the end. I got this one the day it came out (very rare for me) and read it in a few days.

Some of these stories really hit me, and the shorter ones tended to read a little better for me, but honestly? I think i'm just not that much a short stories kind of person, like after a point they all kind of bleed into each other, you know? Maybe it'd be better if i read them more spaced out but even then, i doubt they'd all stick.

Anyway, 3.5/5. There were a few very good ones, but it hasn't been spectacular for me.

“I fell in love with you a little bit, in that stupid way where you completely make up a fictional version of the person you’re looking at and fall in love with that person.”

Peccato

I really like the audiobook but as a whole I didn’t really connect to this book at all. I really wanted to like it more than I did :(
