This book is the best poetry-formed book I've ever read. I personally do not really like books that are written in poetry form but the story made up for it and it ended up being very good in my opinion.

This BOOK. A stunning work of narrative verse, with tension from the very beginning that never quite lets go. I found myself rooting for the character from the start, and enjoyed the survival aspects of the story that I loved when I was a kid reading My Side of the Mountain.
