Super fun read!! Didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. The way this book discussed sex was so lighthearted and natural, and I absolutely loved being inside the MC's head. She's silly and crazy and I like to follow her thought process, which I sometimes related to lmfaoo

It’s not every day a book takes place at your college, but when it does, it calls for celebration. Not only did I spend my undergraduate years at Emerson, I also attended graduate school there as well! Needless to say, Emerson holds a very near and dear part of my heart, so seeing a fellow student, however fictional, live in the bizarre and vibrant community Emerson is, was exciting and nostalgic. That being said, my connection to Emerson may have taken me out of the story quite a bit, as I remembered my Freshman year and the insanity of transitioning from home to college life. Although reading through some of the classes I took (Literature of Extreme Situations was probably one of the best classes I took at Emerson, and you know then there was speech comm…which I won’t go into but will say I shared the sentiments of our main character on) was entertaining, slight differences between real Emerson life and this fictional depiction irked me more than I anticipated. What I will say is that this book was funny and sex positive which is something I love and appreciate, especially seeing that highlighted at Emerson since it is a community that openly accepts so many people. While overall, the story may not have been my favorite, or the most relatable in content for a shy, stay-in-your-dorm-room freshman like I was, the walk down memory lane was fun, chaotic, and beautifully comedic.
