Shadowland, the third book in the immortal series follows Ever's quest to stop Roman's evil curse. When she thought everything was okay again, when she thought Roman wanted to help Damen get better, she was punched in the gut again. Roman convinced her to add her blood, which leads to the fact that Damen and Ever can never be together, because DNA exchange would mean Damen's end. In the third part Ever is focused on finding - or better said - forcing the antidote for the antidote from Roman. Then Jude comes by, and not for the first time. He's been there all those 400 years, standing between (actually always being there before Damen) Damen and Ever. She feels the attraction and she feels free to share her gifts with him. Things seem to get worse when Damen decides Ever has to choose between him or Jude, like all those past lives. They separate and it becomes clear what Roman's price is: Haven, dead or immortal, and the only one who can decide is Ever.
I love this series, I do. I loved the first 2 books and even though I love this one too, it's not as good as the others, therefore 4 stars. And well for this:
Ever, you're getting on my nerves. Do you really think about anything you do? I doubt it. It's not the first time, so I'm used to it by now, but still: THINK, for once! That would make it much better and maybe you won't be hurt anymore.
Then Damen. Damen I love you, I really do, but do you even want this? You keep saying you'll do anything for Ever and keep her save and just because some guy reincarnating through all those years, you just leave her, abandon her. You're just pushing her to Jude.
And then Jude, I love him too, but he really is an unwelcome other love triangle part. It's more like a quartet or something. Or more like just one big pile of stupid lovestruck revengeful teens all crushing on each other.
Because you can add Haven to that pile too. First crushing on Damen, than on Roman, than on Jude and now she's back with Roman, like really together and she nearly died because of that.
So, it seems that the characters were stuck in their usual thing and I really hope that the next book brings some more development, especially in the Damen and Ever romance, Alyson you're killing me here! The plot was really nice, I liked the extra touch of magic and rituals and more of that kind. Can't wait for the next book, in like 20 seconds, saving and running upstairs right now.

This book was a little slow at times. It was pretty good compared to Blue Moon. I absolutely LOVE Roman.
Must... read... the... next... book... PLEASE! I can't wait until next year when book 4 comes out. Enough said. Read it.

I couldn't wait til' this book came out after reading the other two. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. If you love the Twilight Series then you will definately love the Immortal Series.
It was an okay book. But I honestly gotta say, that I am getting bored that Ever is always doing those "big mistakes". When is it time for her to be happy or to do something the right way.
Even that I gotta say, that I think there's nothing wrong with her last decision, but it still hard for her.

A very detailed and intense book! Very thrilling! I couldn’t put the book down, a when I did, I wanted to run right back to it!
I can relate to Ever in a way - in this novel more than the past ones. Ever in this book seems to be making all the wrong choices and decisions that could change things forever - and not in a good way. Well, the things that she does is not out of selfishness, i see the point - and if I were in her shoes I'd believe what she believes; and I do. If I was her I am 100% sure I'd be making the same mistakes.
I have a record of having really bad luck and making the wrong decisions, even though to me they are right - they are right for me. I can relate to Ever and how she feels with the situations she now has to face with Roman and Damen; and now...Jude. And not to mention Ever now has to live with the consequences of her decision with Haven.
The story is really getting intense and I am not going to be missing the book for anything! I cannot wait to see what Ever does with the whole situation with not being able to touch Damen until Roman hands over the antidote to the antidote. Can’t wait to see what will happen! Loved the book, love the series, love the story line and plot! I can’t wait to see how all this ends.

Loved this book! I think it was my favorite in the series. I love the twins Romy and Rayne. I like how they are the exact opposite of each other. Also Jude! Jude, he was just amazing. I loved him way better than Damen. I just loved his attitude and he sounded amazing. He is my favorite character in the series by far. I hated what Ever did to him in the end though. Yes, I freaked out too just like Ever, until Damen told her. I don't want to wreck the book for other people though. The ending was a shocker for me, I didn't see it coming at all. This book was just amazingly good
