As much as I enjoy this series, it seems to be progressing quite slowly. I do enjoy the dynamic new characters are adding though. I am hooked and cannot wait to see what the future holds for Ever and Damen.
"Shadowland" is the third book in The Immortals series by Alyson and it's just as good as the first two books. "Blue Moon", the second book, left off with Damen and Ever searching for an antidote. An antidote that could save them from the Shadowland. If they made any skin contact, Damen would be sent to the Shadowland, a dark place where immortals go when they die. Even though they are immortal, they can still die. Ever meets a boy from her previous lives and has to choose between Damen and the mysterious boy. Who is Ever's true soulmate? Find out in "Shadowland" by Alyson Noel.
I give "Shadowland" a 4/5 rating.

1.5 stars.
Haaaaaa so much frustration with this one.
I still don't get the motives of Roman, apart from helping the author to have a super bad villain who just wants to be with the heroine.. makes no sense.
And Damen going through a middle aged crisis at 600 y.o. Come on, you made Ever immortal and suddenly, "Ho no, I don't think it was meant to be. My bad, go live your life now. Lmao" Hhhhhu
And of course, our dear Ever, still the same, can't make a proper decision and then spending 300 pages whining about it, that she'll never start again.. only to start again in the last 10 pages.
This book did not solve a single problem raised in the second book, but instead added even more. I feel like it's gonna drag on in the next 2 books and suddenly, everything will solve on its own in the last. I can't wait ! Not.

I'm bored with this series. I enjoyed the first two books - but can't even get past the first disc of this one. Moving on for now and may revisit at a later date.
I really loved this book! It was a a nice read and continuation in the series. I absolutely hate Roman and his stupid, stupid mind games! Can'r wait to read the next in the series.
a really disappointing read. it seems like the story has nowhere to go anymore, after book 2!
I liked it but it did remind me of a lot of other books, not very original. I hope the next three books will get better.
Hmm, what to say?
I did like Shadowland. Just it wasn't what I had expected. I thought it would've been better than it was. I like the plot line of the series, but I wasn't overly thrilled with the ending of this novel. I was annoyed with Ever. She makes the most reckless and stupid decisions, not even giving the consequences a second thought. I like Jude, and am excited to see how he plays into the next novel in the Immortals series. I'm looking forward to reading [b:Dark Flame|7198988|Dark Flame (The Immortals, #4)|Alyson Noel|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1264457331s/7198988.jpg|7859868], because I want to see how all these relationships and issues work out. Hopefully it's better than this one.. because I was a bit disappointed with it.

Better than the first two books. This one was actually going to be my deciding factor for whether I should continue the series or not and since the story improved in this book I think I'm going to continue the series and see how dark flame is. I found that the first half of this book was slower but once Ever found the Book of Shadows the second half was more fast paced and easier to read. I hope dark flame isn't a disappointment!
i loved it, just as good as the others which am so pleased about. ever did get on my nerves a little bit but damen made up for it he was so sweet, i also loved jude he sounds great!
am really looking forward to the next one i think its just going to get better and better i do hope things get sorted out with damen and ever i couldnt stand that they couldnt even touch each other properly as it was really bugging me!
