I really enjoyed this book. I would say that it almost stands alone, very different than the first two, but I would definitely recommend reading the first two books prior to this one. As this is taking place post-war, and Alexander and Tatiana are dealing with more "regular" issues... the gravity of how this new life is affecting them is really enriched if you had read the first two books. Although the common issues of life are very different than war, I thought this story had more complexity and nuances and the development of their relationship kept me glued to this book.

I honestly don’t want to see Alexander turn into the person he use to hate. I won’t be reading the concluding novel to this trilogy.

This has become my favourite true love story. Hope, adventure, sacrifices and family.

The defy all odds and find their way back together. This story documents their family lives, their need to travel the country and find the right location to build their forever home and expand their family.

There are a few bumps in the road and long the way, the government, temptation and the struggle to make it work.

The beauty is they make it work. Fast forward a few years and their children are frown and they have dozens of grandchildren.

The perfect end to one of the most amazing series I’ve read. Their love is pure and they beat everything thrown at them to finally live happily ever after with their family.

If you haven’t already make the bronze horseman your next book on the pile!

While I always enjoy following the progress and the lives of characters whom I enjoyed in previous books, I thought this book lacked plot... other than an arguing couple for 90% of the book.

Il massimo ma per motivi diversi dal primo, ci mostra ciò che altri libri non mostrano, emozionante!
