Epic, EPIC , EPIC love story .

From the moment the series started and all the way to the very end .

EPIC.

The series was so brilliantly written, I felt like I was trespassing in the world of Tatiana and Alexander.

The first book started on June 22, 1941, the day the soviet union declared war against Germany . On the exact same day, 16, almost 17 year old Tatiana meets 22 year old red army soldier, then captain Alexander belov.

And from there their epic love story begins.

Blood and tears are shed. Death is everywhere. The war rages on.

They would do anything for the love they have for each other.

The second book starts a few years later and without disappointment, more blood and years shed.

The third, the third did me in because you hardly EVER get to read books or series that parallel with the lives of the characters. You usually just have a few years of their lives and that's it, maybe an epilogue if we're lucky. But this book touched based with all the important stuff during the years they grow old together.

Proving that love never dies and that love can conquer feats .

This is the story of two people who has suffered greatly in their lives but still pushed on and on, getting that happy ending they deserve . And all of it started because Tatiana decided to buy an ice cream and Alexander took a right at the crossroad and upon seeing her, crossed the street for her .

Beautiful. Sad. Tragic. Epic.

Words don't do justice when describing this series .

Just simply, wow.

This was one heck of a great conclusion to the trilogy. These books are larger but I flew through them because they were just that great.

For most of this book I wanted Alexander go eat some dirt and shut up. He was a complete asshat almost the whole damn time and when Tatiana finally grew backbone I really wished she kicked him in the comrades. Anthony was blessing in this book and the epilogue was wonderful.

My goodness this series has put through me happiness, crying like a true fangirl, and "almost" heart attacks. This would've have gotten 5 stars but, somethings in the book made me rage. If you have read this book you'll understand where I coming from.

This book took me forever to finish. The only reason I finished it was because I was determined to finish all the books on my currently reading shelf by the end of 2017. This book RUINED Alexander for me. Yes, life is messy, but absolutely no excuse for cheating on your wife and hitting her. He somehow figures out a way to make everything her fault. It’s disgusting. I’m wildly disappointed, Alexander was one of my favorite male characters, and now he is one of my least.

Perfect, heart pounding, heartbreaking perfection.

I thought The Bronze Horseman had everything? THIS book has EVERYTHING. I was a mess-- laughing, crying, unsuccessfully attempting to control heart palpitations. The Summer Garden is the most satisfying conclusion to anything ever.
