Gotta love an author who writes himself into his own book! This had it all; beautiful women (don’t worry they can hold conversation just like any man), manly men living the manly lifestyle, explosions, shooting, and more. This was everything I expected and more.

Enjoyable, far-fetched, but fun. The law of Character Conservation can only be stretched so far, and I think the Cussler boys are beginning to reach taht limit, but it's a fun read. The machinations of a greedy billionaire duping Canada and the US to the brink of a shooting war, and the only thing that can stop it is finding the lost shipwrecks of a British exploratory expedition in the frigid Arctic, from 160 years ago. Nice.

This was just another solid book in the Dirk Pitt universe!  Like usual if a book keeps me entertained then I will probably like it.

So first of all no one speaks like a human being in this book, and secondly most of the plot predicates on INSANE egregiously unbelievable luck. Pitt is rescued from a landslide by Clive Cussler himself??? Ok dude. Pitt finds the Terror and Erebus after about an hour of searching????? People get getting rescued from certain death by miraculous coincidences!!!! Too much for me tbh
