A cute book but I only read it again because it was Christmas.
Super cute and all but after the 4th re-read?
Loved the plot and the entirety of the book but a 4th re-read?!

After finishing The Land of Stories, I was left wanting more of the same writing style. This is the book that has all of the same components. A continuation of some of the great Christmas stories, valuable lessons in almost every chapter, and a great storyline. Dive deeper into the wonders of the North Pole in this fantastic new story.

Such a fun book! I loved it. I am reading it to my 5th graders now at our Lunch Bunch Book Club. They are loving it! A definite must read for Christmas!

Cute story about a contest to become Santa Claus when he decides to resign. We read this leading up to Christmas and totally did not expect the twist it took toward the end. This led to reading up on other cultures and we all ended up learning a bunch. The ending is happy and everything works out.

Such a fun book for upper elementary and middle school, but with enough geeky references to make this adult clap her hands with joy and delight. And Ollie and I share the same birthday so I think this book is just about perfect! The audiobook is great too!

The kids (10 and 9) enjoyed this one more than me. Great for middle grades. Christmas x games of sorts.
