I think I'm glad this series ended. Not that I don't love the books. But sometimes I feel like authors keep dragging out stories that should just end. I can't say I loved the ending. But the heroine ends up happy. I'm not sure why I don't feel like I am happy. Slightly frustrating, but over all a fantastic series.

Though I wished the ending was different, I give this whole series 4,5 stars!

I don't even know how to feel. I get this numb feeling everytime I finish a series. I really did enjoy this book but I have a few questions! We still didn't really figure out what the moms purpose was. She said that her purpose was Clara, but there's not much explanation. Also, Tucker is a prophet? We need to go into more details about that. He gets visions? What kind of visions does he receive. Are they like Clara's? Does he have some angel blood inside of him? What happened with everyone else? How is everyone else? I did genuinely enjoy this book, but I have a lot of questions xD. I was really sad about Christian. I just feel really bad for him. I don't really know what to say anymore! I did like the series a lot.. I'm feeling kind of sad that it's over.

What it's about: The epic conclusion to the Unearthly series.

What I thought: This was an intense finale in the Unearthly series, and I couldn't put it down! Like literally, I read it all on my 5 hour plane flight home from Sydney. This book has it all - action, romance and twists galore. Clara, Christian and Angela have started their new school year at Stanford University, and are trying to lay low. Jeffery has all but disappeared off the face of the planet, but only temporarily, thank goodness! Thanks to Michael, Clara is learning to use and hone her angel skills. This includes travelling via thought, which ends up leading her to Tucker's barn on more than one occasion. Things are still tight and awkward, but Clara just can't help the way she feels. Samjeeza seems to be around, but all he wants to do is share stories about Clara's mum - and things along that nature are revealed too. But of course, this is all easy to deal with compared to what's going to happen at the end. The final battle is coming and Clara is going to need to be on her game with no distractions. Yeah, right.

If you loved Unearthly and Hallowed as much as I did, then you are going to love Boundless just as much. You'll cry (I did) and you'll laugh (I did) and you won't want it to end (I didn't), but all in all, it's a beautiful end to an amazing trilogy.

The Good: I thought Cynthia Hand wrapped up everything perfectly.

The Bad: Well, depending on whose 'Team' your on, you may be disappointed.

Okay, this was surprisingly good. I'm used to paranormal romance not being written particularly well and having major problems, whether it be with plot, pacing, believability, or whatever. This series with its pastels and pensive girls in dresses on the covers... I didn't have much hope for it. There's also, of course, a love triangle. It just didn't sound good, but Hand really saved it with her writing. She had an idea and executed it well. It's not something I'll ever read again, but it will be an easy suggestion for a certain subset of my students.

I loved this book, but I can't stop thinking of what's happened to Christian. I hoped that he and Clara would end up together, but maybe she is better with tucker after all. I would like a different end for Christian, where he finds someone that loves him, and he loves this girl like he used to love Clara, so everyone will have their happy ending.
