My partner lent me this book to read over my winter break and I'm so glad I read it! I feel like it captures the fallibility and magical elements of childhood memories so well. I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes fairytales or fantasy-ish books.

As much as I enjoyed this book the author is still a horrible person. This book was lent to me otherwise I wouldn’t have read it and I highly encourage everyone to avoid giving him any of your money. I hope his victims get the justice they deserve and Neil steps on a pile of Lego’s.

Overall, this is a neat little story. While Neil Gaiman is undoubtedly an awful person, I'd still reccomend reading the Ocean at the End of the Lane

This is by far the best book I have ever read.
And even if it wasn't, there was a
black kitten called Ocean
that would still make me love this book.
I have no words to describe how much this resonated with me.

Magical, fantastical - the imaginary friends you’d invent in childhood to shield you and nurture you from all the evil in the world
