3.5 I was bored mod the book but the twists are always good.

Emilia darling, STOP TALKING for goodness sake. You've reached level whinny since like the first book. Thank you

Hmm. Lot of things happened in this book and at the same time, almost nothing.
I didn't like this book as I had hope to, Emilia character got on my nerves multiple time, she got more confident, sexier and at the same time she didn't grow at all. She was throwing tantrum at Wrath because he was keeping secrets and not telling her anything but she was doing exactly the same when he just wanted to help. (And Wrath as still a lot of problem with the word "communication" and "consent" *cough cough* chapter 17 *cough cough*).

Emilia had the same problems over and over again, the feast of the wolves (that was such a big deal at first for kinda nothing), her revenge for her sister which didn't advance until the very end and her "romance" with Wrath. Mostly her thing with Wrath.
Reading this book felt long, with nothing really happening but just some worries and pinning until the last 20% that got really interesting with some plot twist coming.
I will still read "Kingdom of the Feared" because I am interested to know how this story will end (and to read "Throne of the Fallen") but I hope Emilia will wake up and be as badass as she says she is.
