For real, I thought Joe will kill Sarah Beth or  S. B. as soon as he had the chance because she became the "villain" in his life at some point. Oh, no, he killed a bunch of people in this book which was always problematic. Wonder, my girl, you seemed naive, but you had a fight within you that I liked even though her family was rude to Joe. I read this series because of Joe's POV of the world. He was funny inside his head, savage to a point, but super chill when he expressed himself with words. Glenn and Sly Shody was annoying from the beginning so, no comment. I hated when she changed Wonder and Joe's books without their knowledge. I must also say that S. B. made the whole mix more interesting especially her "secret" interactions with Joe. She's a villain because she had no morals or whatever. It was so wrong when Joe broke into her dead shed and it made me chuckle that she had "security" stuff. I liked that she had trust issues so, she was prepared. Joe squirmed in his seat because she knew everything felt like karmic destiny. She had no morals and even killed her ex-boyfriend. Oh, the fellows from Harvard had no bones! They just follow the leader when it came to saying anything about a book.

Well, I devoured this even more because Santino Fontana narrated the audiobook companion. His narration is the chef's kiss as usual. Thank you, Caroline, for this interesting book. Hoping for more🔥
