Another great book from Lillian Lark. A witch goes to a matchmaker looking for love and finds herself falling for a gargoyle. Unbeknownst to her, gargoyles live in clans and have multiple mates. The mental geometry and spatial awareness that goes into writing such detailed scenes of passion is nothing short of impressive. Some weird moments of tension left me a little ?? But over all solid.

Sorry friends, but I found this one highly disappointing. And there was so much going for it too - a poly monster romance with a body-positive FMC should not have left me feeling so bored and underwhelmed.

I have started reading more monster romance lately and I’m not sure if this is my love for the gargoyles show manifesting into a love of gargoyle smut but I’m not mad about it. This book was definitely more than the smut which I appreciated, the smut was amazing by the way. I loved the focus on the building of relationships, setting healthy boundaries, and healing from past traumas. I loved the dialogue around non traditional relationships, exploring ones sexuality and how intimacy can take many forms. I couldn’t put this book down and it made me feel all the feels!
