🌶️🌶️🌶️

I devoured this book. It’s rare for me to become an instant fan of an author but I’ll read anything Lark has to give. This was like sinking into a hot bath in winter after a long day. Comforting and sensual in a way that is addictive. I liked how the characters were aware of their own flaws and we got to see them imperfectly accounting for them. I love that we were given plenty of time for joy amongst the conflict. I liked that the plus size character was not the only one with body issues.

Maybe I’ll come back and write more but I’m so tired from staying up late two nights in a row to finish this which is as high a complement as I can personally offer.

Holy Heck this book was H-O-T as Hades hiimself! 🥵🔥 I love a good RH even better when it involves the supernatural. Definitely deserves a 5🌶 rating. The only thing I did not enjoy was the
stalking
done by the ex. This element was not mentioned in the "before you read/listen" info on Spotify and did not enjoy the surprise trigger. Other than that I loved it, definitely one of those books not to listen to at work...

Not going to lie I came into this hoping, against hope, that I was going to get something that reminded me of the 90's Gargoyles cartoons and Lark did just that and then some!

I loved this way more than I could have anticipated. It's well written, has very relatable characters, a found family trope, and so much good dialogue in between the consensual sex which is sensual and steamy and just so freaking seductive that I envy Grace!

Legit envy of a fictional character in a fictional world with her reverse harem of gargoyles!

Grave and Elliot and Broderick and Alasdair are such a wonderful polycule, and I love them together. Grace trying to find her place in a found family when her family are a bunch of dicks and finding that family with the gargoyles and her best friend was extremely satisfying. I loved this book.
