I love this series and was so happy to be a part of the blog tour! Forgiven is the third book of this series, so I suggest that everyone reads all the books in the series, and who would read a series out of order ... no no no!
" Never lose faith. Always have hope. Love for always. "
One of the things that I love about this book is Bradley and Veronica's point of view, I'm always such a fan of what each character is thinking. The different point of views, helps you understand where exactly they're coming from, from every given problem they are facing. Sometimes you'll just want to rip your hair out and be like, "What are you thinking?! Don't do that!", which was me constantly throughout this book.

This book also teaches EVERYONE a lesson :

"Don't keep secrets."
I can't emphasize that enough, this book had me yelling, mainly at Bradley ... With their relationship, there were exterior issues that always seemed to interrupt their daily lives. Gabby had so much to overcome with her past, even though it was her normal routine to run away from her problems, she matured and learned to deal with them head on. I was sooooo worried she was going to runaway from Bradley, which have broken my heart ... again! Lets just say I was extremely proud of Gabby in this book!

Bradley had his own to deal with as well; "baby momma drama". I am so pleased that she had the switching POV's, with Bradley, we got to see exactly what he was feeling during this whole ordeal. My heart did break for him and the connection he quickly made with a child that may not have been his.

I need to stop rambling, before I start spoiling more of the book. I'm interested to see what's in store for the next book, which will be Veronica and Ian's story. I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I am curious to see how they're doing. First and foremost, I'm so ready for Sam's story! ( You'll get little glimpses of Sam's stubborn self in Forgiven.)

Forgiven (This #3) by J.B. McGee is the continued story of Bradley and Gabby. It started a little too slow for my taste, but once it picked up the pace I was completed sucked in to the story. Gabby and Bradley seem to be in a good place with one another except for the lingering issue if Bradley is the father of Veronica’s unborn baby. McGee keeps the story based on moral principles and Gabby sticks to them no matter how much she desires to do otherwise.

Forgiveness is needed by many of the characters in this book and some of the issues are too intense to overlook. I stopped short of giving Forgiven a 5 star rating because the ending seemed quite rushed. Gabby and Bradley have a true love story that is based on understanding, mutual respect, vulnerability, and of course, forgiveness. Now, I look forward to reading the story of Gabby’s sister, Sam!!

DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary copy of Forgiven in exchange for an honest review.

This was more a 3 and half star book for me. I enjoyed Bradley and Gabby and was happy with the way their story wrapped up. The writing was good and the story well-paced. I'm looking forward to Sam's book. I'm hoping for lots of glimpses into Gabby and Bradley's happily ever after as well!
